Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Digital Services

Career Branding Co provides digital writing services (CV rewrites and LinkedIn optimization). Because work begins shortly after intake and is tailored specifically to you, this policy differs from a typical retail refund policy.

2. Before Work Begins

If you cancel before submitting your intake form, or before any writing work has started, you're entitled to a full refund. Email marcoklopper.cv@gmail.com with your payment reference to request one.

3. After Work Has Started

Once writing work has begun on your CV or LinkedIn profile, the service is no longer eligible for a full refund, as time and effort have already been committed to your project. In this case:

  • If work is partially complete, a partial refund may be offered at Career Branding Co's discretion, based on work already done.
  • If a first draft has already been delivered, no refund will be issued — the included revision rounds are the mechanism for addressing any concerns with the draft.

4. Revisions Instead of Refunds

Every package includes a set number of revision rounds (see the Services page for exact numbers). If a draft doesn't meet your needs, please use these included revisions first — most concerns are resolved this way rather than through a refund.

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds are not provided where:

  • The final CV or LinkedIn content has already been delivered and all included revisions used.
  • Dissatisfaction is based on subjective preferences that were not communicated at intake or during revisions.
  • A client fails to respond to requests for intake information or feedback for an extended period, causing the engagement to lapse.

6. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

Email marcoklopper.cv@gmail.com with your name, payment reference, and reason for the request. Requests are reviewed and responded to within a few business days.

7. Payment Processing

Payments are processed via Paystack. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Paystack and may take several business days to reflect, depending on your bank.
